Hi My Name is Micah Luke, the creator of Terragotchi, Where Nature Creates Art!
My Story
i always had an appreciation for nature and the arts.
Growing up I always wanted to find a way to combine my passions for nature and the arts and into something touchable and tangible but never found a medium to do so.
I studied at Ohio University in Environmental Geography and there is where I discovered the art form of creating terrariums. Being able to see a greenscape and encapsulate that in your own personal space is so cool to me.
Another passion area of mine is sustainability and researching ways to reduce my personal and local carbon footprint, so repurposing an old glass vessel into a terrarium not only creates a piece of living art, but also does our planet and local community a favor by keeping idle “trash” out the wastestream!
